I know a few of us ( me included ) were able to play the original Ritz Rocket. Michael handed it to me as we sat on the Akron Agora stage during a soundcheck. He had 8 gauge strings on it and it played fantastically.
Dean proving that you can have a quality build under $1,000.00
Always thinking of how easy it would be for Vinnie to hook up with this company and make a tiny fortune but OF COURSE Vinnie would have ridiculous demands.
FRUSTRATION. With love, I must send a special FUCK YOU to Vinnie.

Now I can't get the intro to the Speed Kills video out of my head!
Looks pretty much right.

The screws are wrong I wonder if those are the same schaeller pick ups? Also no kahler.
No I will say it's a great copy actually. Just looked a bit cheap in picture but it's just a picture.
Might have had a Kahler Floyd but they're not made anymore.

What are you trying to say
I got Jesus in my fax machine. I saw Ho Chi Minh down @ Burger King. I dated Vinnie Vincent as a Drag Queen. I still don't understand a f**kin' thing. I have come here to chew bubble gum and kick ass and I'm all out of bubble gum.

Got two Kahler Spider on each of original my Peavey Vandenberg. Very Cool trems. Sort of low profile-ish & like a Floyd configuration.
Oh & BTW, MAB, top Bloke!

I'm going to be as respectful as possible and just say the I prefer the Floyd Rose and the Ibanez Edge over the Kahler Spyder. Actually I prefer the standard Kahler flat mount over the Spyder. Back in the day I played some different HM Strat's and found the range of this design to be not as wide as the 3 other designs that I mention above. I also feel that the Spyder felt stiff and not as sensitive.

To each there own though!

100% agree.

Yes yes I know kahler spyder is some bad words around here but I loved them. Maybe because what I was used to. I ordered a custom robin machete in 1990 with a medley headstock and asked for a spyder trem even though the guy at robin pleaded with me not to do it. He sounded like I was pretty much ruining the guitar. Haha
Eliot would have given Vinnie a deal for sure.. although hes no ones fool and would not have put up with any BS.
Mad respect for M.A.B. hate the guitar ..
Guitars good, drugs booze.. bad

I didn't know too much about tremolos but being used to spiders the Floyd I had on my Jackson felt like it would break. Spyder was a bit bulky but felt strong. Annoying thing was you couldn't screw in arm with out a wrench which I always lost
Yes dean would have been good for vv. I told personally by email that dean would make his guitar but he wasn't interested from what I gathered. I think he wants full control of sales not just a cut. Which means 100% of nothing instead of 10% of something. We all know he would sue dean for as long as he is alive if any deal was struck anyway
