Just open a photobucket.com account and upload them there, then copy the location to a post here and it'll work fine.

Revenge era caricatures I did back in '92 are in the Kisstory book featuring Bruce. I did one of Bruce last year and gave it to him at the Kiss Coffeehouse in Myrtle Beach... I'll post a pic sometime. I may draw St. John sometime too... sadly the one time I met him in 2002 at a Kiss Con in Cleveland it was last minute with no time to do a caricature.

I found these instead.

i never understood why Gene never got into doing a Hanna Barbara style Kiss animated comic for tv. Would really be awesome. Ace and Peter with the comedy. Why not?

Oh I'm sure he's still trying today. I remember Gene saying they were supposed to have a cartoon TV show back in '79 but it was just "too much KISS to take." Probably would've looked stylisticly like the KISS Rub 'n Play set Dynasty caricatures.

Also Gene has mentioned trying to produce a KISS Babies cartoon recently.

Every few months Gene announces to whomever will listen that he's working on a cartoon show and a Broadway show.

I'm almost at the end of reading the KISS KOMPENDIUM comics collection. The Dark Horse KISS series of comics...although poorly executed in the comic form...would be a great blueprint for a Saturday morning type of animated show.

Yes, the Dark Horse comics could translate well into a cartoon!

This is probably what a Hanna-Barbera KISS Kartoon in '79 would've looked like. I could just see them in the KISStery Machine drivin around and solving mysteries... "and I would've gotten away with it if it hadn't been for those meddling KISS!" :P

But to tell ya the truth, I'd rather see a Stryper cartoon with Satan as the Dr. Doom/Joker style baddie!

the 79 thing will be so much better than anything they do now. Most likely outsourced to kids around the globe who will do it the cheapest.

Yeah I would have no interest in a KISS Kartoon today... but if one would've come out in '79, you'd better bet it'd be right there beside my Kiss Meets The Phantom VHS tape. :)

I wonder what they would've done in the early 80's had a cartoon come out... replace Criss/Frehley with Carr/Vincent like a Dukes of Hazzard Bo and Luke/Vance and Coy switcharoo?

Plus it gets put up on the web, so doubly amazing. Imagine what else is out there that hasn't been uploaded?

Years ago I did a very small run fanzine and got in touch with a guy in Tasmania who made me some cover artwork, it's too bad I didn't get him to do some VV stuff. He was very talented.

I have tons of old drawings over at my parents place and some involve Vinnie... I'm just to lazy to go dig thru the building for a 12 year old's rendering of Vinnie and KISS... ;)
