why does vinnie not want to show recent photos

I find it very strange he uses old images of himself to promote new things. No one does this. He wants the illusion he is still young. I feel this is a valid question. The pieced together guitarmageddon picture shows 80s vinnie . He is hiding something or is shy to show himself. Can you imagine George Lynch using his back for the attack pictures to promote a new guitar or music. Kiss using the hot in the shade pictures for their press release for the next record? Anyone have any ideas why he does this. If we hadn't seen the mugshot the last shot we would have seen was nearly 10 years old. I suspect he doesn't want a visit from a photographer but still its very strange to me. Everything with vinnie is frozen in time.

Mug shots are upsetting to everyone, they are never a great thing to represent you, but he's not the first celebrity mug shot and he won't be the last, it's not the end of the world.

It's good that it got him out of the house finally!! He should do that more often, visit a guitar store, say Hi to people.

The current picture of Vinnie Vincent around the world is not a pretty one so he could only do good by appearing as his current day self and getting himself out there.

You are right, NOBODY would promote themselves this way, so I guess he's unique in that respect and probably a little bit crazy, but he's our crazy guy.

Hes 60 it happens to all of us we get old stuff sags hair grows every where but on your head. I got the dreaded crazy Scottish eyebrow thing going if I don't keep them trimmed all the time now . We slow down dont have the speed playing we once had.. Its all normal stuff Vinnie! Take the wig off open the windows put on a clean shirt and go do something.

Also, I think everyone had come to the conclusion that Vinnie had reached the point were it was a bit more than obvious he did not want anybody to see him how he looks now (which is, well, like a 60 year old would look). I mean, wasn't he pulling that sort of stuff since the Euphoria release in 1996?
