I saw this band from Sweden, CRASHDÏET on the 20th October @ the Gaelic Club, Sydney Australia. Great show. The next day they were doing an acoustic set at Allen's Music (Musical Instruments Retail outlet) & I brought my 3 year old daughter, along. Long story short, she was introduced to the band as the biggest Vinnie Vincent fan by my good friend Paul, who is the Manger of that store . (Honestly, I don't know what it was, but the first time she saw Vinnie in KISS, Vinnie was her favorite) Anyways, this got a conversation stated later on betweenMartin Sweet (the lead guitarist of CRASHDÏET & my friend Paul, (who is pretty much the biggest KISS fan I know) Martin told Paul that everything about Vinnie Vincent (Music & Presentation & Image) was TOO PERFECT & that he was a huge fan. I had a quick word to him, but had to leave as my daughter was a little overwhelmed by the whole thing of meeting her first Rockstars (with big Hair ) & Martin said he knew about the new Vinnie Vincent model guitar & that he'd love to get one.
I got Jesus in my fax machine. I saw Ho Chi Minh down @ Burger King. I dated Vinnie Vincent as a Drag Queen. I still don't understand a f**kin' thing. I have come here to chew bubble gum and kick ass and I'm all out of bubble gum.
Maybe this TOO PREFECT approach to things paralyses Vinnie from going forward & doing anything...Scared he may fail.
