Miming Dynasty songs in Elder costumes in Mexico!

My brother got me this too but I found it was already on Youtube. Had never heard of this before. The band look cool though. I wish the quality was better.

Found this info out on it, it was before the Elder release but with the costumes and new look.

THE DATE IS ACTUALLY SEPTEMBER 27, 1981, IN MEXICO CITY, AT CHANNEL 13... THE BAND IS INTERVIEWED BY JIMMY FORSON, KISS ALSO LIP SYNC'S I WAS MADE FOR LOVIN' YOU AND CHARISMA IN WITH THEIR NEW "MUSIC FROM THE ELDER" COSTUMES... 2 DAYS PRIOR ON SEPTEMBER 25TH, ALSO IN MEXICO CITY THE BAND DEBUT'S THE ELDER COSTUMES ON THE 2ND FLOOR OF THE CAMINO REAL HOTEL...

I always found this footage odd... why not play Unmasked tunes? I'm guessing cause I Was Made For Lovin You and the Dynasty album was still huge in Mexico two years later and Gene wanted to "sing" too so they added Charisma?

Charisma is a cool, cool song. We used to play it on our Kiss days.

Strange they wanted to show off the Elder look early but they probably had to cause of the hair cuts.

i also like x-ray eyes. Why they didn't play much from Dynasty live even on the dynasty tour?
i would like to see kiss do the entire Dynasty album live in a special, maybe add some solo album stuff too.

That it too cool. Like you Genebaby, I had never heard/read/seen anything of the Band from this era in these costumes performing songs other than those from The Elder.

This really is a treat for me as I have just recently acquired Eric Carr's Elder Costume that was originally sold at the Butterfields Auction. I have the jumpsuit, belt and collar.....this being the most complete and only costume that was sold at the auction.
