Hotter than hell
Hotter than hell
Ok was working in the shop on a guitar listening to Hotter than hell, and was thinking this album has the best flow to it and every song is really good, some great but none really bad. Just the perfect 70s rock and roll album.
Buy the way, "working on a guitar" " Listening to Hotter than hell " "gonna do some jamming in a bit" fuck I love my life.

Re: Hotter than hell
Vic and I have debated this but when evaluating Kiss, Hotter Than Hell and Dressed To Kill (The Original 3) my preference is Hotter Than Hell for many of the reasons that you have stated in your post. It is really a solid album and in my opinion one of the best Kiss Albums in the entire catalog. Great songs!
Re: Hotter than hell
It's a great underated record. Love the final part of hotter than hell song that starts just before the solo. Great sound.

Re: Hotter than hell
I would like to hear some recordings of vv playing the hotter than hell solo on the 82 tour.

The thing about ace is I never have faith in him and he comes out of nowhere with a great solo or song. The guy shouldn't be good but he is. Makes no sense.

It's a great Kiss album for sure. They should be playing more from it live, especially the title track.

I've always thought this. Strange Ways and Parasite are probably two of my fave tunes of his. Why they never played Strange Ways live is beyond me... it's a killer tune and they could've thrown Ace and Peter a bone by adding that one song to the set.doublev2 wrote:The thing about ace is I never have faith in him and he comes out of nowhere with a great solo or song. I've read there's supposedly a version of Strange Ways recorded for Alive with Gene on vocals. The only version I've seen is this one:

Would've been perfect for the Revenge tour too...
Re: Hotter than hell
The first album was great but the songs have been played to death. I like dressed to kill a lot . Come on and love me was a favourite for a long time.
Hotter than hell is the darkest record along with creatures for me.

Ya I think in some ways .. Strange ways was ahead of its time very dark and metal especially for 1974.

Re: Hotter than hell
HTH has always been one of my favorites since I first heard it. Glad to know there's other fans of it.
Re: Hotter than hell
HTH I think is the album that Ace Frehley became Ace Frehley...if that makes any sense.
