Wow, this is so cool. This is the "rock" album we have been waiting for for a long time from Peter. I'm actually a big fan of his two very first solo albums, but not so much afterwards and have been wanting him to release this for ages.

Re: The Return of Peter Criss 2025
Well, we got a small taste at Halloween and just 30 minutes ago I got the email that I could download Peter's new album as part of my pre-order.
I was about to leave work but I had my laptop ready to download, unzip and then upload the album to my YouTube Music library, ready for the trip home.
I really like Peter's voice and so far the album is really cool. I'll definitely give it a few good listens.
I have matching white vinyl and CD coming, with a silver CD for my son. Apparently we'll see them in January.

What I have heard sounds pretty good and I was surprised that it was heavier than I expected

This is the Peter album we've been waiting for, it's good stuff.

bought the wav. files on bandcamp(regular price), what transpires from the song it that Peter had much fun recodring it,and same goes for the players who guested on it.That is wha tmakes it more enjoyable, i will wait til i've heard it many tiems before sayng anything about it, but the first impression is positive.
"One for All" had all the good intentions but lacked a proper producer, the out of pitch vocals and a few other quibbles didn't do the cd justice.
At least it was the record peter wanted to make, it was honest, warts' and all.As with the first solo album, the tag of Kiss and also of his Kiss fans were key factors in the fact that people didn't appreciated it.It was targeted towards a wider audience, not just kiss fans.

I do like Peter's KISS solo album and I bought things he did over the years, including One For All (I can't believe that was in 2007!) but I didn't like it at all, maybe I should try again?
This is the rock album he's been promising, for longer than I remembered it seems, a good 18 years.
He does sound like he's having fun, and his vocals sound great, I hope this album is successful for him.

one for all has some great tunes and some ok tunes that suffered from bad production choices.Maybe a good producer could have saved it and also spared Peter all the negative comments.Plus, some songs were more reflectiive of his age compared to the average Kiss fan.Once again, it was heartfelt but lacked what it takes to make a great album and unfortunately, alla the reasons why it wasn't well received.

It's gotta be tough when you put all this effort into something and it doesn't quite gel. I know that album didn't gel with me, and I have been waiting, and waiting and waiting for the next once, which he said was going to be a rock album.
I still can't believe it has been that long, and Peter just turned 80, wow!!!

I thought it was alright. But after listening to it a few times, I don't know that I will be pulling it out much at all. I don't think it sold that much. He's probably lucky the label put out 3 versions so the "hardcore" would go buy all 3. "I Waited 18 Years For This"?
I also really didn't understand why the first single was a very bad Alice Cooper imitation.
3 Sides complained how horribly marketed this release was and I agree. Sure its out there but its not going to sell anything. Peter's not going to make any money off it. Kiss fans won't even be talking about it very long IMO.
Peter would have probably been much better off if he had been doing "Origin" type releases like Ace. Peter isn't a very good songwriter at all. I kinda agree with Gene. Did he really contribute anything to "Beth" except the great vocals?

I do like the album, and I thought the first single was one of the best things on it, I love his laugh at the end.
I probably like Out Of Control More still, but I'm sure I'll give it a listen.
Money making or not, it's great that Peter got this out there as part of his legacy, it will probably be his last album. You never know when it will be your last one.
Too bad Ace's last one was not so great, though potential was there.
