That's a wierd one.
He hasnt said/announced anything about it on the regulars, and this website is different.
the whois doesnt give much away either.
Either way, he's just a knob at every turn.
Deleting posts abuot the previous single and now onto the next annoucement of bullshit.
It's just baffling cause he writes the posts as if he 's actually convinced himself something will actually eventuate....but it never does.
His old website is about to expire.
We'll see if does anything about that.

I mean its an interesting idea, and in theory a pretty smart way of doing things. Sell your work to an entity or one person for a lump sum and let them do what they will with it, with some conditions. It would be interesting to find out if there was an actual sale of the Ride The Serpent single. Obviously not enough to go ahead with release, no way that was gonna happen, but one, two, five? Who will know, but surely they will be refunded should anybody have done so.
So now we abandon the song by song idea and go for broke with the whole album, along with the rules.

The other thing to consider, and what has been annoying me of late is that this album really is an unfinished mess, and not quite what should have/would have been released back in the day. He's been messing around with it lately, it has a new drummer on it. What we really want/need are the original, untouched early 90's masters, with the original drums and everything.
Vinnie can sell you this and then remix it and make adjustments and try and sell the new version.
It's a shame it's been messed around with so much, it's never been finalized. The final version is only for this week, it can change next week, because there is no proper release. No finished/final product going to mastering, just endless remixing and knob twiddling.

That doesn't seem to be in the contract and no take backs once you get it.
I also love that it's a two week turn around to send it.
I know what kind of service I'd want for my sweet 2 million.
Even Gene would fly to to, or fly you out, to hand it over personally.

There seems to be no mention of shipping costs so let's assume it's included in the price.
This is a step down in $$$ for Vinnie, who was going to get more than $200,00 per song thanks to his inflated shipping prices. Should they ever have sold like the hit cakes he thinks they are.
This makes the whole album a bargain, in relative terms, LoL.

Can you imagine the kind of checks and balances you'd want in place if you actually did this deal with Vinnie?
It sounds like a bottomless pit of legal back and forth - and provenance would tell you its going to be a nightmare to deal with this person.
I do wonder if Vinnie just posts this shit to get attention, because he's got nothing else to put out into the world?
