None that I have heard about. Vinnie wanted a tribute band at NAMM but it never happened.

I always loved that about Vinnie. He wasn't going to dumb-down his playing for a pay check (ala' Eric Singer). He was truly himself.

yes, i think kiss bought into him. I suspect he had to fight a little for what he wanted.

I don't think he would need to have shown up, rather it all just would have gone on without him, like the actual display did.Streetbeat wrote:very hard if he doesn't show upGenebaby wrote:None that I have heard about. Vinnie wanted a tribute band at NAMM but it never happened.
I can't remember, did he mention he would perform with the band? I seem to remember he said there would be tribute "bands", as in plural, and I was thinking, where is he going to find even one?
Mr Weeks could do it, not sure if he can sing and play at the same time though, but he could be Vinnie or Robert, they are the hardest parts to play.

Re: Vinnie Tribute Band ?
Vinnie should ask weeks to play bass with him. I think he would do it.
Re: Vinnie Tribute Band ?
Or Vinnie could play bass for Mike!!....lol....
I don't think the bass is too hard to find someone to play it, the singing and guitar work is another story. Mike can do both in the studio.
